Northflare Energy sources Sunflower Husk Pellets from the primary producers in Balkan countries, such as Romania and Bulgaria, as well as Ukraine. These regions are known for their extensive sunflower oil and seed production, generating substantial quantities of husk as a byproduct.

Sunflower oil and seed producers have a long tradition of pelletizing the husk on-site for logistical and transportation purposes. This practice makes Sunflower Husk Pellets widely available in the biomass market.
