Our goal never changes: delivering the right biomass, in the right quality, at the right time. Different supply chains give us the flexibility to reach that goal, whatever the starting point.
Our own production supply chain covers the wood pellets we produce ourselves. It starts with wood industry residues and continues through pellet production, quality control, documentation, logistics, storage and delivery.
Feedstock origin
The supply chain starts with wood-based feedstock, primarily residues from sawmills, complemented by a smaller share from responsibly managed forestry. Here, higher-grade wood is used for construction timber, furniture and other long-lived products, while remaining residues can be used for pellet production.
Own pellet production
At our own facilities, wood industry residues are processed into pellets. This gives us closer control of production and strengthens our ability to ensure reliable supply for our customers.
Safety isn’t something we prioritise when convenient, it’s a core value embedded in how we run our plants every day. Our teams train regularly in the procedures that matter most: from lockout/tagout and confined space work to fire and combustible-dust prevention, PPE and emergency response. We work with respect for our people and the environment, and we take full responsibility for the outcome — every shift, every site.
Quality and documentation
Before the pellets move further through the supply chain, they are assessed against relevant requirements for quality, and origin and sustainability characteristics are documented.
Logistics, storage and handling
From our plants, the pellets are transported, stored and handled through our logistics setup. This helps support reliable supply and consistent product quality.
Delivery to customers
The pellets are delivered to customers for power, heat or other relevant applications, depending on customer needs and market requirements.

A portfolio based on responsibility
More than 95% of the raw material used for our wood pellets production in the US originates from residues from saw mills and other related industries. Alongside our own and third-party wood pellets, we source and supply alternative biomass including agri-based products.
