Origin
The origin of Crushed Cashew Nut Shells is South East Asian and West African countries. Vietnam is a major source of CCNS for biomass, with the countries’ ample cashew industry producing significant quantities of this biomass residue. Vietnam is closely followed by Ivory Coast which is also a large producer of CCNS.

Availability
The availability and easy handling of CCNS for biomass is one of the products key advantages, CCNS production in only Vietnam and Ivory Coast generates around 2 million metric tonnes annually. With an established setup in Vietnam and Ivory Coast, Northflare Energy is currently the largest supplier of Cashew residues to the international markets.
